HOUSING: Note: Recessed housing contains four (4) ½" NPS conduit inlets (two (2) on bottom and one on each side) and internal pull-through wiring compartment. Die-cast aluminum back box contains less than 0.3% copper to prevent corrosion in concrete or masonry applications. Fasteners are 300 series stainless steel. Die-cast aluminum trim ring contains less than 0.3% copper to resist corrosion. Cast bronze fixture has polycarbonate, color impregnated, dark bronze finish. Die-cast copper-free aluminum with 45° cutoff, with frosted tempered glass. Cast bronze louver is natural cast bronze with frosted tempered glass. Gasketing is silicone. FINISH: Zinc-rich primer and thermoset powdercoat for durability. OPTICAL ASSEMBLY: Symmetric reflector is precision formed, semi-specular aluminum or highly polished aluminum, which produces a wide symmetric distribution for general area lighting. LAMPING: 13W CFL (GX23D-2). Lower wattage lamps are acceptable. 40W maximum T10 (4KV medium base porcelain socket). ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLY: Single contact bayonet (S-8). 13W Fluorescent Socket is a GX23/GX23-2. 4kv rated medium base porcelain socket. Nickel-plated screw shell with center contact. Fixture is 12 volt.
